Authorised by the HMRC, Trilogy Freight operate our own ETSF facilities in London Heathrow and Manchester.

These External Temporary Storage Facilities offer significant cost & time saving advantages to freight forwarders importing cargo to the UK.

With large designated ETSF areas within our airport warehouses, non UK goods transported by air, sea or road, can be stored prior to being delivered in the UK or re-exported. Trilogy Freight offer discounted rates for imports arriving into our ETSF on a truck under a T1.

With significant customs checks on the increase, delays are growing as UK Customs work though the paperwork. Agents working with urgent shipments will feel the impact of these delays, especially where goods are for manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, fresh produce or large groupage is involved. Using our ETSF may be a way of avoiding these potential delays through UK customs. The customs declarations can be conducted whilst shipments are in our ETSF facility avoiding delays and storage charges.

By utilising Trilogy Freight’s ETSF facilities our customers can avoid the risk of paying the hefty storage charges that the airlines and ground handling sheds charge. We offer more days free storage than the airlines, thus offering a much needed cost saving to our customers and allowing more time to arrange the delivery.

With additional service offerings for imports, Trilogy Freight can break down intact PMCs or devan containers, sort shipments into product type and repalletise ready for the final mile delivery. All this can be done overnight in many instances.

Storage charges will apply as per the original MAWB or HAWB status 1, not from the point of any amendments to original record or renomination.

In the event storage accrues due to an event outside the control of Trilogy Freight, including customs clearance, then the full storage charges will be applicable, including seized or shipments under investigation.
